As far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to visually create - to tell a story, create a feeling, or a sense of place, with paint.

To me, nothing is more beautiful, or fascinating, than the light interacting with the environment. Sunlight striking the mountainside, the way a candle will throw shadows, the soft light on my love's face - that is what I try to convey through my work.

Again and again I find that nature and the spirits who dwell there provide my inspiration. Through my art, I hope to engage the viewer, transcending the two dimensional limitations of canvas and paint, striking a chord within to embrace the natural world and preserve its gifts.
